Dive Sites

 Dive sites are determined based on conditions that day, guest requests and experience of divers.

Molokini Crater 

Molokini is a partially sunken volcanic crater just 2.5 miles off the coast of Maui.  Molokini is designated as a State Marine Life and Bird Conservation District.  The waters around Molokini are crystal clear with visibility up to 150 feet.  Within the crater is home to approximately 250 species of fish- some of which are found nowhere else on the planet.  Molokini’s back wall is a sheer drop off to over 300 feet and is rated as the number one wall dive in U.S. waters.

Back Wall

Prodiver does the back wall dive as often as conditions and experience of divers will allow.  Clear water and stunning sheer walls makes this one of Mau’s most beautiful dive sites with great potential for photography.  It is here where you will most likely encounter the large pelagics, including manta rays, sharks, dolphins and whales.   There are various ways to see the back wall including drifting from Reef’s End or Enenue side or doing a live drop on the back wall itself.   There is also an abundance of marine life on the two ends of the reef and within the crater.

Prodiver Scuba Maui

Prodiver is the ultimate SCUBA Maui dive boat specializing in comfort and safety and is perfect for exploring
the SCUBA diving sites around Maui. 

Prodiver is a 34’ Delta custom fiberglass scuba dive boat with a private bathroom, carpeted deck, fresh water shower, protected cabin and open deck areas.  We are a professionally operated, clean and organized Maui Scuba Dive operation.  We have VHF, GPS, cell phone, first aid kit and oxygen on board.  We are coast guard certified for 16 passengers but we only take 6 certified scuba divers!  Reserve your Maui SCUBA Dive early as demand often exceeds availability.

Equipment

Bring what you’re comfortable with or we will provide you with top quality SCUBA dive gear.  Our regulators are Scubapro S600/mk 25 with an R190 octopus.  Our BCD’s are Scubapro Classic Plus.   We supply every diver with a Suunto Gecko wrist mount computer!  We have long and short wetsuits, booties, strapped fins, quality silicone masks (including optical) and aluminum 80 cu. ft. tanks.  Nitrox is available.

Check-in

We meet at 6:00 a.m. at the Kihei Boat Ramp in South Maui and after two SCUBA dives,
return to the ramp at approximately 10:30 a.m. 

We provide fresh fruit kabobs, assorted muffins and rolls, cookies, coffee, tea,
hot chocolate, water, sodas and other great snacks.

Philosophy

At Prodiver Maui, safety and exceptional service are top priorities and that is why we cater to a group of six certified SCUBA divers.  We pride ourselves on extended bottom times and a relaxed and enjoyable scuba dive pace.  We try our best to match scuba divers with similar experience and abilities and we have a system in place that will allow divers the flexibility of returning to the boat as their air consumption dictates.  Above all, SCUBA diving Maui should be a fun experience that highlights your SCUBA Maui vacation.
