Discover Scuba Diving program is designed for uncertified divers, or swimmers who have never tried scuba diving before.
As part of our two-stop tour of Southern Maui dive sites. Often featuring the Molokini Crater, you’ll snorkel in the inviting crystal-clear water of the first site and dive at the second. The program includes a short safety and equipment orientation, where participants learn how to use essential diving gear, such as the mask, fins, buoyancy control device (BCD), regulator, and tank. Next, you’ll practice basic underwater skills, such as clearing the mask and regulator recovery. Your dive will take place 40 feet (12 meters) or less underwater and lasts between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the conditions.
While the Discover Scuba Diving course doesn’t provide PADI certification, it’s a great way to experience weightlessness and underwater breathing in one of the most breathlessly beautiful dive locations in all the world.
We meet at Kihei Boat ramp at 6:15am and return between 10:30 -11:00 am, light snacks and beverages are provided.
